Bio:
Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati. Her major was drawing and paintings, minoring in fashion illustration and art history.
Sarah studied color extensively from the brilliant painter, John Stewart, and drawing from highly skilled artists, Phil Foster and Diane Olivier. She had the pleasure of studying fashion illustration from the gifted artist/illustrator, Margaret Voelker-Ferrier.
Her work is represented in both private and residential collections.
Sarah teaches art for Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio. She teaches Art in the Parks during the summer. Sarah is an active member of the West Chester Arts Council. She has taught for the Fitton Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, and the Middletown Fine Arts Center, both youth and adult classes. Sarah also taught art at The New School and St. Julie Billiart School for several years.
Sarah lives in Hamilton, Ohio with her two beautiful daughters, extremely supportive husband, and her seemingly devoted feline friend, Cutie Pie. She and her husband have worked to restore and redesign a Queen Anne Victorian Home; truly a labor of love.
